KEWL VIDEO – Make Your Own Working Wolverine Claws From Popsicle Sticks

Here’s a super cool video with easy to follow instructions on how to make yourself a set of Wolverine claws out of popsicle sticks. You can sharpen them to pop balloons and stuff but as far as we can see you’ll have to manually retract them – no big deal. Tools required are really simple and the skill level is elementary school art class. The only real problem we can see is that they do NOT seem to make the classic ‘SNIKT’ sound when they pop out. Anyhoo, check out the video below and see what you think. Let us know is you make them and send pics along – including things you can slash. (No people or animal targets, please!) Thanks to ‘The Q’ YouTube channel for this video!

DC Launching Live-Action Titans

DC Comics

Note news on the new ‘Young Justice’ here, too! With Dick Grayson possibly getting a movie (we say ‘possibly’ – how many times have you seen films pushed back for years at a time?) it makes sense to get his story out on TV to a wide audience. “Late last year, Warner Bros. CEO Kevin Tsujihara promised more DC Comics content for fans and teased that they were working on a streaming service. Today, Warner Bros. is unveiling their plans.

Warner Bros. and DC Comics are teaming up to bring fans a new digital TV service in 2018. The service will launch with at least two flagship shows: a live-action series called Titans from Greg Berlanti, Akiva Goldsman, Geoff Johns, and Sarah Schechter, as well as the revival of the animated Young Justice series. The new show will be called Young Justice: Outsiders.” Video and more at the link below.

Today Is Alien Day!

justjared.com

Just a quick PSA to remind you that today is Alien Day but why is it today? Well, because the troubles in Alien began on a moon called LV-426 and nerds/geeks everywhere decided to use 4/26, or April 26 as Alien Day. Another name for this moon was Acheron. Per the Alien Anthology Wiki, LV-426 is one of three known moons orbiting the planet Calpamos, located in the Zeta II Reticuli system, 39 light years from Earth. We’ll be updating this post if Alien Day goodies start coming in. For now, have a look at the Alien: Covenant trailer via the link below.
