Assassin’s Creed Joins The 100 Million Sales Club

assassinscreedbigThis is a big deal considering how lackluster the box office this summer was. Only five films passed the $300 million mark in the US. It makes more sense to put your studios’ efforts into video games since the overall gross on $100 million sales (at $30/game conservatively) is $3 billion. Not only that, but a successful game will build into a long-term franchise. You could be looking north of $10 billion (gross) over five years. Someone at UbiSoft just got a promotion. And a Ferrari.
