The Insane History Of Doctor Strange

Dr. Stephen Strange made his first appearance in 1963, inspired by the pulpy supernatural mysteries of The Shadow and the popular radio program Chandu the Magician. Created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko, Dr. Strange was initially intended only as filler for the popular anthology series Strange Tales. His first story was only eight pages long, so clearly, Marvel had no idea the character would go on to become one of their signature heroes. Just a quick note to update you on what we all suspected. “Remember that post-credits scene in this past November’s Doctor Strange? Doctor Strange and Thor sat down across from each other to discuss some business. And now it’s been confirmed that the good doctor will be appearing later this year in Thor: Ragnarok.

Disney’s fan club, D23, just posted a preview of all the things that fans can look forward to from Disney in 2017. Among them was Thor: Ragnarok. The description teases how the film will see the God of Thunder team up with familiar faces.”
